THE GRIFFIN HOUSE | A PNW WEDDING VENUE

The Griffin House is an elaborate wedding venue settled on the cliffs above the Columbia River Gorge in Hood River, Oregon. The home is family owned and was built in the early 1900s. It has been featured several times in "The Knot" and couples have traveled from all over the United States to hold their weddings here. This venue is perfect for intimate weddings or extravagant celebrations, and with its panoramic views, you bet you'll experience the wedding of your dreams!

Here are some features that The Griffin House offers:

  • Space for up to 175 guests

  • Overnight rentals available

  • You can choose your vendors, or they can supply them for you

  • Requires a day of Wedding Planner/Coordinator to guarantee your day goes smoothly

On the day of your wedding, you'll be allowed a 6-hour event window from 4 PM-10 PM, but you'll have access to the grounds between the hours of 9 AM-11 PM. Something neat about The Griffin House is that they give the option to reserve the venue for the entire wedding weekend if you want to use it for the bridal party and families. You'll also have access to a full inventory of furniture, and you'll have a full support team on the grounds in case you need any assistance.

Something that I love about this venue is that it has four different outdoor spaces alongside the house itself... a photographer's dream! The Welcome Terrace greets guests as they arrive with a stunning view of the Columbia River Gorge. The Ceremony lawn also faces amazing views, and the expansive Reception Lawn is excellent for large celebrations. Last, but certainly not least is the Eastern Lawn which sits above the home on the edge of a cliff, perfect for mingling and cocktails.

If I haven't already sold you on this venue yet, maybe the gallery below will. And, if you're already planning a wedding at The Griffin House but you still need an amazing photographer, let's chat!
